LK Shunt Cabinet VS2 Prefab is supplied as a complete unit with the LK Fördelarshunt VS2 and LK Värmekretsfördelare RF pre-installed.
Note: The cabinet is intended for right-hand installation, i.e. the connection to the shunt group is made from the right-hand side of the cabinet, through the bottom of the cabinet.
The cabinet has a sealed bottom with rubber pipe penetrations. The bottom of the cabinet is fitted with a drainage outlet, allowing any leakage water to be drained to a location where it can be inspected.
The cabinet is made of 1 mm powder-coated sheet steel, RAL 9016. The cabinet is intended for recessed wall installation or surface mounting on a wall. The minimum stud thickness for recessed installation is 95 mm.
The cabinet must be complemented with a frame/door. There are two types of frame/door depending on whether the cabinet is installed recessed in or surface-mounted on an interior wall. For surface-mounted installation, the cabinet must also be complemented with a plinth to conceal the pipes between the cabinet and the floor.
The cabinet is supplied with pipe penetrations, a bellows sleeve for drainage, 1.5 metres of drainage conduit, a drainage elbow with outlet plate, cable penetrations for room controls, a splash guard, and installation instructions.
The back of the cabinet is fitted with four pre-installed M8 nuts that can be used for attachment to an LK Skåpsstativ when the cabinet is to be installed before a concrete slab is poured.
